The cybercriminal group Lapsus$ has reportedly claimed on an underground forum that it extracted a large dataset from Adidas via the company’s extranet, allegedly containing around 815,000 records.
The group is associated with the Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters collective, known for sophisticated social engineering tactics. This is not the first cybersecurity incident involving the company.
In May 2025, Adidas disclosed that customer information had been compromised after an unauthorized actor gained access to a third-party system, highlighting ongoing risks linked to external vendors and supply-chain security. To read the full story, Click Here.
